Some berries grow on plants. Berries are planted like most crops in Minecraft. There are 3 stages to berry growth. The third stage is a pocket of berries formed above the plant. Break this to recieve berries. Berry growth can be sped up with bonemeal. Not all berry plants are found in the wild. Plant berries obtained from Villagers or Pokemobs to grow more.
Some berries grow on trees. Plant a berry on farmland and wait for it to grow. Bonemeal can speed this up. Berries will sprout from the leaves of the tree. Berry tree wood is very colourful and makes a very good building material. Not all berry trees are found in the wild. Plant berries obtained from Villagers or Pokemobs to grow more.
Some berries can't be found in the wild. Some Villagers will trade berries that can't be naturally found for emeralds. Villagers will also trade Emeralds for berries.

Pokecube Berries
Berries are useful items that are used to heal pokemobs. They can be used as a currency and are required for special abilities.
Berries are more than just plants, all berries have unique abilities. Some restore health while others cure status problems. 2 Jaboca Berries and 2 Rowap Berries can be crafted to make a repel. Repels stop pokemobs from spawning and explosions within a 50 block radius. Berries are also required to use HMs and are eaten over time while riding your pokemob.
